An M3U file is a plain playlist: every line points to a stream (live channel, movie or episode) on your IPTV provider's server. Your link usually looks like http://server:port/get.php?username=...&password=...&type=m3u_plus.
When an IPTV app loads that link, it downloads the list and plays the streams inside. If the link is dead, mistyped or expired, nothing loads. That is exactly what this M3U checker detects in seconds, with nothing to install.
The most common M3U failures
Dead or mistyped link
One missing character in the URL or a stray space from copy-paste and the list stops loading. The checker tells you right away whether the server responds.
Server down or overloaded
The M3U file is fine but the provider's server stopped responding, often at peak hours. The diagnostic separates an invalid link from a temporarily unreachable server.
Expired subscription
An M3U link keeps existing after expiration, but the server refuses the streams. The checker reads your account's expiration date when the provider publishes it.
List loads but channels stay silent
The playlist opens, channels show up, nothing plays: the individual streams are dead. That is the trap of a shallow test, which is why we check down to the streams.
