Protecting your personal data is a priority for IPTV Guard. We are committed to collecting only the information strictly necessary for the application to function. Your data will never be resold to third parties.

M3U or Xtream, for cross-device synchronization

Live viewing history

Channel watched and duration, powering your recent channels and anonymous community statistics

Audience measurement

Aggregated visit statistics (page views, referrers), with no cookies. Hosted in Europe, never sold.

3. Processing Purposes

We use your data only for:

  • Enabling authentication and account management
  • Synchronizing your playlists and favorites across devices
  • Sending you reminder notifications (matches, series, events)
  • Improving the application user experience

4. What We DON'T Do

No selling of data to third parties
No targeted advertising
No access to your playlist content (we only store URLs)
No tracking cookies, no advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking

5. Data Sharing

IPTV Guard only shares your data in case of:

  • Explicit request from you
  • Legal obligation (court order or government authority)

Community features: the “Popular right now” and “Hot by Community” rails are computed exclusively from anonymous aggregates (viewer counts per item, with a minimum audience threshold). Your individual history is never visible to other users and is deleted with your account.

6. Hosting and Security

  • Your data is hosted on PostgreSQL servers in Europe
  • Communications are encrypted via HTTPS
  • Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text)
  • Only you and the IPTV Guard team have access to your data
